The Arbalou Stud farm was founded in 1998 near St Lô, in Normandy. Pierre and Isabelle Memain and their children left the Rhônes-Alpes region, where Isabelle was president of the Centre Hippique Des Alpes, the top riding school in Grenoble, to concentrate on breeding and showing sport ponies and horses. Today the Arbalou Stud is home to almost 70 ponies and horses.
